CHURCH OF SCOTLAND.
NEW LORD HIGH COMMISSIONER. (British Official Wireless.) Received March 28, 11.5 a.m. RUGBY, March 27. The King- has approved of the appointment of the Duke of York to be Lord High Commissioner of the Church of Scotland, in succession to the Earl of Stair. In this capacity His Royal Highness will open tne annual General Assembly of the Church of Scotland.
