OWNERSHIP OF CARS. (By Telegraph.—Special to Standard). AUCKLAND, Jan. 16. The difficulty experienced by tho police in tracing cases of motorists and dealers who fail to notify a change of ownership of motor ears was mentioned by Sub-Inspector AlcCarthy in the Alagistrate’s Court. “It is a most involved business, and I am sure my hair is turning grey sooner than I expected,” said Sub-Inspector AlcCarthy. The Alagistrate (Air W. K. AlcKean) remarked that if he, made the fines heavier the approach of grey hairs might be halted.
