DAVIS CUP.
FRENCH PROPOSAL. (Australian Press Association.) Received December 22. 9.5 a.m. NEW YORK, Dec. 20. The United States will probably not object to the French proposal to divide Europe into two Davis Cup zones. A similar proposal for the American zone has been under consideration since it was suggested at the London meeting last July.
