SEPARATION GRANTED. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Dec. 22. Separation and maintenance orders were granted Violetta A. Broughton against her husband, Leslie Weedon Broughton, by Dlr Salmon, S.M., today. This was a case in which the husband applied for a reception order, alleging that the wife was insane and had her committed to a mental hospital, and while there his child died. The wife alleged cruelty and drunkenness, and. the case, which commenced a week ago, has caused a wide interest. The magistrate said that ant was entitled to the fullest consideration and fixed the mount at £2 per week.
