JUMP INTO BOILING LAKE. Per Press Association. ROTORUA, Dec. 21. An unknown man, poorly-clad, jumped into the boiling lake at Whakarewarowa at 1 p.m. to-day before the horrified spectators. The police and Maori caretaker were soon on the spot with grappling irons and the body was recovered, boiled, an hour and a half later. It was removed to the morgue. The man’s age appeared to bo 55 years, his height was sft lOin, and he was of medium build.
