FARMING PROSPERITY.
DAIRYING IN THE NORTH
(By Telegraph—Special to Standard.) AUCKLAND, Dec. 3. The dairy yield of the province continues at remarkable strength, and, side by side with the surprising increases in the early killings at the freezing works and the generous prices for wool, is bidding fair to build up a season of memorable farming prosperity.
The dairy production of the province for the first five months of the season up to the end of November is just over 11.1 per cent in advance of that for the corresponding period of last year.
