(From Our Own Correspondent). RONGOTEA, Nov. 20.

Tho Rongotea Town Board met last evening, Mr L. H. Yarrall presiding. Also present were Messrs T. Fraser, H. Trenknor, and E. J. Arnott. • Particulars were received of tho Government superannuation 6cheinc for local body employees. It was decided to obtain further information and Messrs Yarrall and Fraser wero authorised, to act in the mat; ter. . , , Tho works committee reported with reference to the lining of the Coronation Hall, stating that a contract had been let, and that the work would shortly bo commenced. Tho question of installing heating apparatus is to be left in abeyance. It was also stated that, provided a few minor alterations were made, a heavy reduction in insurance premiums would he possible. It was stated that grading was being carriod out, with considerable improvement to the roads. Tho pot holed state of tho main highway was also discussed, but no action was taken.
