SUPREME COURT.

SENTENCES AT WELLINGTON. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Oct. 29. The following prisoners were sentenced to-day by Mr Justice Ostler: Kenneth Jack Fryer, aged 19, for breaking and entering and theft at Hawera, two years in. the Borstal Institute. A prisoner aged 19, whose name was “suppressed, received two years’ probation for forging'in a name to a cheque. Paul Ludwig Ernest Franck, aged 48, for indecent assault at Palmerston North, four years’ hard labour, Edward Bush, aged 24, for a serious offence at Wellington (four charges) six months’ hard labour. A tailoress whose name was suppressed received a year’s probation for theft.
