DAIRYING SEASON.

FAVOURABLE IN AUCKLAND

GREAT COMPARATIVE INCREASE,

(.By Telegraph.—Special to Standard), AUCKLAND, Sept. 4.

Not only lias the dairying season opened with production more than 30 per cent, over that during the very tavourable similar period ot last year, which showed ail increase of more than 50 per cent, over the 1026 season, but also prices are very satisfactory. In view of the market and the prospects of the actual production, it seems likely that the current season will show an enormous increase on all previous seasons in the earnings of dairy farmers and this must necessarily be reflected in a more active condition of business, for which the trades people are now preparing.
