FOOTBALL TEST MATCH.
COLD SOUTHERLY BLOWING,
Per Press Association. AVELLINGTON, Sept. 5. Tho weather is not too pleasant for the first test match between New Zealand and New South AVales. A ocld southerly is blowing, but there is no rain altrliough tho weather shows signs of breaking. The ground is soft. CHANGES IN TEAAI. Per Press Association. AVELLINGTON, Sept. 5. Owing to an injury Snodgrass was unable to play to-day being replaced by McClymoivt, of Otago. Minns is a' doubtful player and may be substituted by Oliver in which case Macltay, of AA'ellington, will be the emergency back.
