Service.) Received September 5, 11.5 a.m. TOKIO, Sept. 4. A typhoon visited Kyushiu on August 30, causing considerable material damage, but, fortunately, small loss of life. The typhoon then passed into tho Japan Soa and traversed Korea, inducing devastating floods. Tho floods were most severe in the country regions, the important towns being missed. An official report gives the death roll of Koreans as exceeding five hundred.
