Y i K> Y" OUR R ad ,at °r Always < Clean cooling system makes lor engine efficiency. Give your engine a fair deal. “ KYRAC ” as necessary as oil SINCE 1909, tho Hardingc-Smith Co-op. Ltcl, has been marketing “Eucalaqua” boiler disincrustant, during which period < it has accepted every challengo to overcome boiler trouble, particularly in bad cases, where other lines have failed. • \ Under theso drastic and commercial conditions, “Eucalaqua” proved tho perfect disincrustant, the worst waters m Vic- i toria and New South Wales having been dealt with, where, m no instance, lias “Eucalaqua” fallen short of perfect i success. Tho Company, having atained this success, which has been tho means of putting years on to tho hfo of < boilers, turned its attention to that of cooling systems in motor vehicles. Hero the problem is complicated; for many i things neod consideration; first and foremost tho walls of the water jacket enclosing tho engine must be kept entirely 4 free of any sort of mud scale (which soon forms, even if rain water only is used) or incrustation for tho engine of the car 4 to retain tho designing engineer’s original efficiency! then the pump must be kept free of rust to allow smooth work- j ing and proper seating, making no unnecessary wear and tear and leakage. Tho hoso connections must bo preserved, . and tho vast number of small tubes in radiator kept free of rust, and functioning with its original efficiency. For years laboratory tests wero carried out to meet theso requirements, and in December 1923, “Kyrac” saw tho light. For two years after, “Kyrac” had tho samo gruelling tests commercially in tho motor word as “Eucalaqua” had among the boilers, and, liko its forerunner, has como out of the ordeal with honours. So efficient was the laboratory work that no alteration in tho formula for “Kyrac” was found necessary during tho two years’ trial. Tho world has boon waiting for such a specific, as it is recognised it is as necessary in its sphero as oil is in any other part of the car. The potetnial output of “Kyrac” is so great that tho original company has boon greatly enlarged and reconstructed into what is now known as Kyrac Pty., Ltd. Both “Eucalaqua” and “Kyrac” are non-poisonous and entirely table in nature; that of tho, wholo world, can only is, no deleterious chemical is added, and the basic plants are indigenous to Australia, and, out 1 only bo obtained in a small portion of Now South Wales a slightly larger area in Victoria. “Kyrac” is essentially an Australian production from its base to the bottle in which it is sold. Continuous uso of “Kyrac” will positively keep a now car clean throughout tho cooling system, and will gradually clean off rust and incrustation in that of used cars, causing tho scale and rust to disintegrate and fall in the form of sludge; thus tho car retains its full cooling capacity by reason of the tho conductivity of heat through tho water jacket to tho wa ' ' ’' ’ 1 - -"*■ 1 1 1 ’ in tho radiator, becauso 6d por month) tho metal - - , , -, . _ .* - coats itself with them (first getting rid of any scalo or rust as already explained). Once tho metal is -coated it is impossible for any particles solidified by the heat and attracted to the metal to adhero to tho “Ivyrac-cd” surface—it merely drops to the bottom, and is washed out when flush mg _ tho radiator onco a month. The owner of every motor vehicle using “Kyrac” consistently is assured of ahyays having the following car parts in tho samo efficient condition as when new: Tho walls of tho water jacket; tho radiator and all its tubes; the hoso connections and the pump. Any engineer or motor mechanic will tell you how this will lengthen tho period of perfect efficiency in the engine and internal parts, retain smooth running and original petrol consumption, and save repair bills. Starting on a new car and consistently using “Kyrac” tho cooling system of that car will bo as clean as now when tho rest of tho car dies of old ago.
