The second series of the championship was fired olf on Monday night when the average scores were slightly better, eight returns haying a total of over 130, B. Salmons and H. Barlow tying for top score with 130. Following were the best scores returned: —B. G. Salmons 68, 68, 136; H. Barlow 68, 68, 136; J. iMeAvinue 67, 67, 134; J. Dalziel 67, 66, 133; J. Griffiths 65, 67, 132; H. Alltree 66, 66, 132; C. Simpson 66, 66, 132; G. Shelley 66, 65, 131.
