FRIENDLY SOCIETIES.

OROUA LODGE OF DRUIDS,

The Oroua Lodge of Druids hold their quarterly meeting last evening, A.D. Bro. A. Lownds presiding over a good attendance. Two now members were initiated. It was decided to hold a social evening next lodge night, and to send invitations to Lmd (Shannon), Makino (Feilding) and Acorn Lodges. The evening will take the form of pingpong and card tournaments. About twenty members signified their intention of visiting Lind Lodge next Wednesday on the occasion of their quarterly meeting. P.D.P. Bro. F. Jackson repiorted on the visit of a piarty of six members from Oroua and Lind Lodges to Pride of Brooklyn Lodge, Wellington, on tho occasion of the initiation of the first women members into that lodge.
