A MEDAL SUGGESTED

London; Aug. 3. Paavo Nurmi, and his fellow Finns who have their hypnotic triumphs, leave us wondering whether in Finland anyone ever troubles to sit down and take a rest once the day’s movement is begun, says the special Olympic representative of the Times. • If a suggestion may be hazarded in all seriousness, a special Olympic medal should be cast with Nurmi’s effigy on one side, and the words, “I chased the Finns,” with the date on the other. It might not be sport, but it is a magnificent confession.
