COAL COMMISSION.
HEARING DISORGANISED
SYDNEY, Aug. 15.
The Coal Commission inquiry was disorganised to-day by the non-appear-«!>ce of James Johnston, ex-manager of Byrnes, Limited, to continue his evidence. A medical certificate was tendered that Johnston was suffering from heart trouble and was confined to bed.
Counsel for the next witness, Pringle, manager of Byrnes, Limited, objected to his client answering questions until Johnston's evidence was complete. The court adjourned until tomorrow.
