SHOOTING ACCIDENT.

RIFLE BULLET IN YOUTH’S KNEE

Per Press Association,

TAUMARUNUI, Aug. 15.

As the result of a shooting accident at Oliura yesterday, A. P. Brown, aged 18 years, was removed to tho Taumarunui Hospital with a pea rifle bullet in a knee.

Brown and another youth were loading a rifle when tho cartridge jammed, exploding as tho breech was pushed homo.
