I feel sure th the objections to daylight saving arose from ignorance. As iar as tho towns are concerned, it wont affect tlio running of the trains, while the employees starting work at, say, o.ou a.m. will start at 7.30.’ Mr A. P. Stewart mentioned that, at the annual meeting of the Northern Bowling Club, a - resolution was passed agreeing to support the Cham Dcr of Commerce in any action taken.
