Tlie management committee of the Manawatu Rugby District Council mot Inst evening, Mr R. Bly presiding. Also present were Messrs E. Clevely, T. Pagan, J. R. Hardie. T. Collins, P. G. Burlace, A. R. McHerron, K. TV. Eglinton, R. E. Hatch, A. J. Trevena and A. M. Ongley. Apologies for absence were received.from Messrs Campbell and Colquhoun. CORRESPONDENCE.

Prom the United Valley Club asking for permission to play their next match at 1.30 o’clock. —Granted. From the Horowhenua Rugby Council asking for the date of the Rowland Cup match. —No date has yet been finalised.

From the United Valley Club advising that it was not possible to ascertain who was the player alleged to have kicked a W.E.0.8. player. The club also complained about the referee’s control of the game.—Received. From the Woodville Club alleging that St. Patrick’s third grade team had played a Dannevirke player under an assumed name, and protesting accordingly.—The protest was upheld, and it was decided that the match he re-played at Woodville on a dato to be fixed should the result of the championship be in doubt. GENERAL. It was decided to request the ambulance men to be in' attendance at the match at Palmerston North on August 22. Tho annual grant of £ls was made to the primary schools’ association for the expenses of the team travelling to Wellington for the primary schools’ Rugby tournament. The date of tho match between Wellington Old Boys’ fourth grade team and W.E.0.8. thirds at Palmerston North was left in abeyance. FIXTURES FOR SATURDAY. Senior. —Kia Toa v. Athletic, Oval, Showgrounds, 3 p.m., Air J. B. Proud; Old Boys v. Feilding Old Boys, No. 1 Feilding 3 p.m., Air H. Hope; Feilding a bye. Junior. —Feilding v. United Valley, No. 1 Feilding, 1.30 p.m., Air J. H. Thompson; High School . Old Boys, No. 1 High School, 1.30 p.m.. Air F. Garner: Kia Toa v. West End 0.8., Oval, Showgrounds, 1.30 p.m., Air H. Hands; Bunythorpe v. Feilding Old Boys, No. 2 Feilding, 2 p.m., Mr F. S. Hewitt; Athletic v. St. Patrick’s, No. 4 Showgrounds, 1.30 p.m.. Air A. Gordon. Third Grade.—As the Alanawatu third grade representatives are to play the Wellington fourth grade representatives on Saturday, there will be no third grade matches. Fourth Grade.—High School v.
