SERIOUS CHARGES.

YOUNG MAN IN TROUBLE. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Aug. 6. In the Supreme Court to-day three young men, Walter Frank Goodall, John Charles Colcord and William Henry Colcord, appeared for sentence on six charges of breaking and entering and theft by night, and ono of breaking and entering by night with intent to commit a crime.

Goodall also appeared for sentence on a charge of forgery. Goodall was sentenced to four years’ hard labour, Charles Colcord to three and a half years’ hard labour and William Colcord, aged 19, received probation for a term of three years.
