Results were as follow: MEN’S DOUBLES. Semi-final. —S. L. Patterson and J. B. Hawlces (Australia) beat W.» T. Tilden and Hunter (U.S.A.) 7 9, 7—9, 6—4, 6—4, 10—8. MIXED DOUBLES. Third Round.—G. R. Rees and Mrs Watson (England) beat Borotra and Madame Bordes (France) 6—4, 6—3. Semi-demi-final. —J. Crawford and Miss D. Akhurst (Australia) ..beat Henri Cocliet and Miss Bennett B—lo. 6—4. The match was unfinished owing to the bad light. MATCH POSTPONED. SPANISH LADY INDISPOSED. (British Official Wirelses). Received July 6, 11.5 a.m. RUGBY, July 5. Senori.ta D’Alvarez. who was to have met Miss Wills in the final of the ladies’ singles to-morrow, has a slight attack of laryngitis and the match as been postponed until Saturday.
