FURTHER PROGRESS. (Australian Press Association.) Received July 6, 1.5 p.m. LONDON, July 5. Further progress was made at the Wimbledon tennis tournament to-day. Results were as follow: LADIES’ DOUBLES. Semi-demi-final. —Miss Boyd Australia) and Miss Akhurst. (Australia) beat Miss Bouman (Holland) and Miss Colyer B—6, 6—3. Miss R. Lycett and Miss Ryan (U.S.A.) .beat Mrs O’Hara Wood (Australia) and Miss Bickerton (Australia).. MIXED DOUBLES. Semi-demi-final.—Hunter and Miss Wills (U.S.A.) beat Scroope (Ireland) and Mrs Shepherd-Barron (England) (k—l, 6—3. P. D. B. Spence (South Africa) and Miss Ryan heat L. A. Godfree (England) and Mrs Co veil (England) 6—4, 6—3. MEN’S DOUBLES. Semi-final.—Cochet and Bfugnon beat J. F. Hennessey and G. Lott (U.S.A.) 11—9, 6—4, 3—6, 7—5.
