A high financial authority states that Captain Loewenstcin lately had been embarrassed and had been refused credit amounting to 200 million francs |n England. This left him unable to cover important obligations. A message from Brussels states that Captain Loewenstein failed to float a twenty-five million dollar loan in America, and it had boen rumoured that.he lost £5,000,000 on the Brussels House.
