PLUCKY YOUTH.
Per Press Association. WHANGAREI, June 14,
Robert McCallum, aged 16, residing at Waotira, had both bones of his left log fractured and his left ankle dislocated ns tho result of a fall from a horse. Despite tho pain, ho struggled into the saddle and rode 14 miles to a settler's home from whence he was conveyed by car to Whangaroi. He is now in hospital and is progressing satisfactorily.
