(United Service.) _ Received May 24, 8.5 a.m. , LONDON, May 23. The court dismissed the appeal of Kennedy and Browne against thendeath sentences. Lord Hewart stated that the case was “as plain ■as a pikestaff.” The condemned men will be executed on May 31 at different prisons..

Kennedy and Browne were sentenced to death for'die murder of Police Constable Guttcridge, in Essex.
