(From Our Own Correspondent.) BUXNYTHORPE, May 24.

The following scores were recorded at the miniature rifle range on Monday evening:J. O. Webber 136, H. Hughes 133, F. Cox 133, H. Robson 132, W. Salmon 131, F. Rosvell 131, H. Gore 131, L. Raikes 131, A. Pederson 130, G. Jepson 129, \V. Stewart 123, L. Pa.scoo 128, G. Hammond 127, L. Burrell 125.

During the past days the annual meeting of Methodist ministers of the Hawke’s Bay and Manawatu districts has taken place in tho Methodist Church. The Rev. Mr Parker, of the local church, extended a hearty welcome to the visitors and _expressed' tho wish that their deliberations would he for the good’of the church. During the evening a concert was given by the visitors which was much appreciated by the local residents. A young men’s camp organised by the Methodist Circuit will take place at Bunnythorpe commencing on Friday, Ist June, when it is expected there will bo some 50 boys in camp.
