ACCUSED BEFORE COURT,

Raymond Strong, aged 33, pleaded guilty, in tho Police Court to a charge of breaking and entering and theft from two shops of goods valued at £25.. Ho stated that John Arthur Crawford .aged 37, who was charged with receiving in connection with his offence, .had no knowledge of the robberies. He admitted that he hired a taxi to remove the stolen goods. Having no money, ho presented the driver with a packet' of cigarettes and a tobacco pouch from the stolen property, Strong was committed for sentence. Crawford was remanded for a report bv the probation officer.
