CABINET MINISTERS.
.VISIT PAID TO ELTHAM

Two members of the Cabinet who were in Eltliam last evening, Hon. A. I). McLeod and Hon. O. J. Hawken, received deputations from the County Council on the question of tho recovery of rates on abandoned Crown lands and from the Borough Council and the Lake Itotokare Domain Board on the relief of unemployment in the district and matters in connection with th© Itotokare reserve. To-day Mr McLeod continued northward. Mr Hawken will remain in the Egmont electorate till the end of the month.
