CHRISTCHURCH, May 23 \ case in which a bigamist had tiled a petition of divorce from his wife on tho grounds of desertion was before AllJustice Adams in the Supremo Court Tim petitioner, Frederick William Seaton, did not appear in support of tho claim, but his wife, Olivo Klizabet.i Seaton, was present and secured a divorce on a cross-petition on the grounds of desertion and adultery. The wife said that at Palmerston North in 1921 she gave evidence against him on a charge of bigamy when he was sentenced to three >eais imprisonment.
