KAIRANGA COUNTY.
REDUCTIONS IN GENERAL RATE.
At the annual meeting of the Ivairanga County Council yesterday' it was decided to make the following reductions in the general rate:—Taonui Riding, £300; Mangaono Riding, £200; Fitzherbert Riding, £2OO. These reductions approximately correspond to the increase in the hospital levy, making the total rates about the same as last year.
