WOMEN ELDERS NOT WANTED.
Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Alay S. The Christchurch Presbytery does not approve of women being elders of the Presbvterian Church. A remit front the General Assembly proposing that women should become eligible lor this office was before the meeting of the Presbytery to-doy and was negatived after a brief discussion.
