WORLD’S RECORD RUN. LONDON, Oct. 14. A world’s record run of a railway train is reported in the performance of the Royal Scot Express from London to Carlisle, 300 miles in 366 minutes, an average speed of 49.19 miles per hour. —A. and N.Z. cable.
