A message from Los Angeles states that Frank L. Clarke, Hying the biplane “Miss Ilolydale,” landed at Santa Monica on Saturday night after starting from the Oakland airport, early in the afternoon, apparently for Honolulu.

Before leaving Oakland, Clarke filled the ’plane with 500 gallons of gasoline and told tho aviators that ho would see them in Honolulu.—A. and N.Z. cable.
