COLDER CONDITIONS. The Government meteorologist wired to-day: The indications are for westerly winds, strong to gaK and backing by west to south. Expect changeable and showery weather. The weather will probably become colder shortly. The barometer- has a falling tendency, hut it will be rising after about from 24 to 36 hours.
