MUNICIPAL ELECTIONS.

(To the Editor.) Sir, —In your report of Mr Edwards’s meeting at the Opera House on Wednesday last you stated there was an audience of 200. Probably the printer’s devil wfis responsible for this error. It happens that I made it my business to take a rough count of the audience, and it numbered' well over 400. The attendance was by far "the largest that has assembled at any meeting in the present campaign, and the vote of confidence in Mr Edwards was carried unanimously.—l am,etc., A. W. SUTTON. April 22, 1927.
