BUNNYTHORPE.

(From Our Own Correspondent.) On Friday afternoon the Anglican Church Ladies’ Guild held an Autumn lair in the Public Hall, Bunnythorpo, being opened by Mr Gordon Eliott, iVI.P. In declaring ttie lair open, he congratulated the .ladles on their display, and as the object was worthy of the best support, being in aid of the Active Service Cadets ho hoped that the many days of work in .preparing tho . fair would bo crowned with success. Cake, sweets, flowers, produce and fancy work stalls did good business during the aftornoon and evening. Competitions wore held for the following: Homo made bread, sponge Sandwich, scones, vegetables and fruit, articles from sugar bag, best decorated bowl and best decorated basket, there being many entries. In the evening a ouehre and dance took place when ihore was a very largo attendance and the fair resulted in a substantial amount be raisod for a worthy object and the St. Barnabas Ladies’ Guild arc to be congratulated on there effort in making the gathering a success.
