ALDERMAN’S SUSPENSION

SYDNEY, April 7. The president of the Electrical Trades Union states that Alderman Mostyn has not been suspended from the assistant-secretaryship. A motion in favour of his suspension was moved, but he ruled that, as it involved serious and drastic action against an official, notice would have to be given before the matter was decided. It therefore stands as a notice of motion for discussion at the next monthly meeting.—Press Association.
