PIG BREEDERS.
ASSOCIATION SECRETARY.

At a council meeting of the New Zealand Pig Breeders’ Association held yesterday in Feilding, Mr K. Glendinmng, of Palmerston North, was appointed secretary to the association out of 83 applications for the position. The headquarters of the association will be moved to Palmerston North after the next annual general meeting. The retiring secretary of the association. Mr T. F. Fitz Gerald, was the subject of very complimentary remarks from the council and appreciation was expressed at the manner m which Mr Fitz Gerald had organised and developed the association, with its present splendid financial position. Regret was expressed that Mr Fitz Gerald had tendered his resignation after so many years of faithful service to the association. He was accorded a hearty and unanimous vote of thanks for his past work.
