AUCKLAND FATALITY.

VERDICT AT THE INQUEST

AUCKLAND, March 16

The inquest concerning the death of Mr Arthur Frederick Gungall was concluded by Mr Hunt, S.M., coroner today. Deceased met his death as a result of a boating accident which # occurred about 300 yauls from the reclamation at St. Mary’s Bay, on Sunday, March 13. The coroner found that deceased met his death in St. Mary’s Bay, the cause being accidental drowning. The coroner also commended . Mr G. T. Chambers, who was also in the boat with Mr Gungall, for his plucky action in diving for deceased and endeavouring to save him. ,
