DARING CLIMB.
PAGE BOY HERO. HISTORIC HOUSE BURNT. LONDON, Fels. 3. Climbing 65ft. to the parapet of the burning Gloucester Hotel, Weymouth, by means of stove pipes, a page boy, William Dicker, reached two women guests and guided them to safety. The burnt wing was formerly Gloucester Lodge, where George 111. signed the treaty of American independence, and received- the nows of Nelson’s victory at Trafalgar. It was here that the fashion of seabathing was started.
