SUPREME COURT JUDGMENT. Per Press Association. DUNEDIN, March 15. In a civil case. Bank of Australasia against Lewis ’ Curtis, commission agent, Mr Justice Sim gave judgment for plaintiff, who claimed £546, the amount of a cheque drawn by defendant on the National Bank and subsequently dishonoured by his direction by alleging that it had been obtained by fraud by Sandman, a bank teljer, who was convicted of embezzlement.
