PUNISHMENT FOR CRIME.
SENTENCES AT DUNEDIN. Per Press Association. DUNEDIN, March 15. The following prisoners were sentenced by Mr Justice Sim:—Gordon Jenkins, breaking and entering, theft and false pretences, reformative detention for five years; William John Walsh, breaking and entering and theft, two years’ hard labour and declared an habitual criminal; Vivian James Adlam, sheep stealing, two years’ hard labour.
