PAMPHLET PUBLICATION, CASE AT TORONTO. FIRST OF KIND IN CANADA. (By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) Received March 16, 9.25 a.m. OTTAWA March 15. At Toronto Ernest V. Sterry, who was charged with publishing in a pamphlet known as the Christian Inquirer, a “scandalous, impious, blasphemous, profane, indecent libel of, andconcerning, God, the Holy Bible, the body, Scriptures and Christian religion,” was found guilty by a jury to-day. Sentence was deferred. This is the first case of its kind in Canada. —A. and N.Z. cable.
