AMATEUR ATHLETICS.

FEILDING CLUB’S MEETING. [Special to "Standard.”] FEILDING, Feb. 25. Lovers of amateur athletic contests are assured of an excellent day’s sport to-morrow when the Feilding Amateur Athletic Club will hold its annual fixture on the Feilding racecourse. The competitors include R. A. Rose, H. E. Newton, C. Gibbons and many other noted performers on the track. Tho handicapping has been handled by Mr S. Amadio, whose excellent work produced such close finishes at the last electric light meeting held by the club, as well as at othor meetings.
