MEDICINE MISTAKEN. CORONER MAKES COMMENT. Per Press Association. , NAPIER, Feb. 25. At an inquest'held'yesterday afternoon, before Mr Dyer, coroner, a verdict of accidentaF death was returned fn connection with the death of James Pelfer, an inmate of the Old Peoples’ Home at Park Island, who succumbed subsequent to drinking a liniment in mistake for cough-mixture. The coroner remarked that it was inadmissible to allow old people to take medicine as they pleased. There should be arrangements by which old people were supervised when taking medicine.
