KEROSENE EXPLODES
YOUNG MAN INJURED. (Per Press Association.) DARGAVILLE, Jan. 3. Early on New Year’s Morning two young men named Frank Cossifl and Jim Hodges were boiling a motorcycle chain' in kerosene in a local factory. The kerosene caught fire, and Hodges lifted the tin to the door, but when it got too hot he put it down, and Cossill went to throw the tin outside, the kerosene exploding in his face and shoulder. He was so severely burned that he had to be sent to the hospital. His eyes also are injured.
