ITALY'S LATEST UKASE.

ANTI-BLASPHEMY CAMPAIGN.

ROME, Dec. 24

An anti-blasphemy campaign being, waged by 3000 committees throughout Italy received its greatest impetus today by the adhesion of all industrialists in the province of Milan. Factory owners, under an agreement with their workmen’s representatives, will post notices strictly prohibiting blasphemy, the managements binding themselves to see the order strictly enforced.

A clause is included in all labour contracts making infringement of the anti-blasphemy ukase sufficient cause for dismissal.
