BLAZE IN SYDNEY.
VERY EXTENSIVE DAMAGE. SYDNEY, July 20. Early this morning fire destroyed the Groth Company’s wholesale paint store in George street. Other buildings, including the Empress Theatre, were damaged, being saved with great difficulty.
The damage is estimated to be in the vicinity of £IOO,OOO. —Press Association.
