ALLEGED THEFT.
MAORI YOUTH REMANDED. John Tahu Andrews, a Maori youth, appeared before Mr N. H. Sinclair, J.P., at the Police Court this morning charged that, on July 21 at Buckley, Shannon, be did steal a, rifle, a watch, an overcoat, a pocket knife and two pairs of shoes, of a total value of ,~H Hs 6d, the property of Robert Victor Tudor Brewer. On the application of Constable Shannon, of Shannon, accused was remanded to appear on Saturday.
