OPERATIC SOCIETY.

“BELLE OF NEW YORK.” It will be gratifying to all active members of the Operatic Society to know that practices for the “Belle of New York” production will be commenced as from Tuesday night. The society in'selecting this 6omic opera for presentation may be ambitious, but tho talent they possess in their members has emboldened them to launch out this year. There will be a particularly large cast required and the opera lends itself to amnteur production. The society will welcome on Tuesday night any now members and hopes that anyone having the desire to assist will be in attendance at 7.30'0n that night.
